JOB DESCRIPTION

Review and analyze construction documents such as architectural plans and specifications using Bluebeam software and AutoCAD software.
Generate comprehensive pricing and price/service proposals. Generate material take-offs using Bluebeam and MS Excel.
Manage pre-bid RFI process. Manage inter-departmental communication on Microsoft Teams and bidding schedule/calendar on Outlook.
Compile estimates of material & labor costs on bid sheets using MS Excel.
Solicit and qualify pricing from suppliers & vendors by requesting material and service quotes based on the takeoff.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Foreign Equivalent Education accepted; 2 years of experience as an Estimator. Bluebeam Software, AUTO CAD, Experience in Commercial Glass Estimation required.

TRAVEL

The employee will travel to Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas in Texas for a few days but less than a week; No more than two or three times a year.
